The coming Saturday will be the one-year anniversary of picking up my motorcycle. Hitherto I have over 21 500 kilometres of excitement from the parallel twin between my legs. In rain or drought, cold or heat, we've been together. Whenever I have been feeling down, a ride has always cheered me up. Actually I was overdoing it at times, so I had to restrain myself. I have a lot of fond memories with this machine... and probably after “programmer”, the next most important word that describes me is “motorcyclist”. And we certainly have a lot more to go...

I've set a goal to keep the machine in service for at least thirty years. Mission 3% accomplished!
