Meditation

9 March 2014

A while ago my Wing-Tsun teacher told us something about meditation. When we try to meditate, i.e. not think about anything, at some point we find ourselves thinking about something. We get frustrated that we're not succeeding, and it gets even worse. Like the building with the broken windows that I wrote about a month ago. Instead, we should keep trying, regardless of the past results. If a window is broken, we shouldn't give up and smash all the other windows. This way of thinking, as logical as it sounds, somehow is unnatural to me. I'm working on changing this... and I know I will... slowly, but certainly.
